Description:

To support the objectives of Aludyne Information Technology Department. The IT Help Desk Tech is responsible for supporting users throughout the company with hardware and software issues.


This is an entry level position and willing to train where necessary.

Requirements:

Education and Experience:

Degree in IT or related field preferred and/or 1-2 years-experience in System Support Role.

Skills, Knowledge and Competencies:

  • Must be fluent in all current versions of Windows operating systems.
  • Ability to deal with multiple levels of people effectively, in group and individual settings.
  • Ability to learn new programs, activities and tasks.
  • Good oral/written communications and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to facilitate small group meetings.
  • Strong organizational, planning and documentation skills.
  • Strong troubleshooting abilities Proficient in:
  • Hardware setup, and repair
  • Software installs and configuration as required.
  • Software and hardware troubleshooting
  • Office 365 management (Email, SharePoint, Teams)
  • Active Directory
  • Powershell


Knowledge

  • Ability to deal with tight deadlines.
  • Multilingual a plus.
  • Ability to multitask.


Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assures proper inventory of user's computers throughout global enterprise.
  • Implements and maintains personal computer software, and hardware.
  • Performs special assignments as delegated.
  • Creates and updates documentation pertaining to position.
  • Ensure team adherence to all IT processes, policies, and procedures including IT Security.
  • Other duties as assigned.
