Summary/Overview

The FP&A Analyst will assist in providing financial, strategic and analytical support primarily to Corporate and Value Center leaders. This position plays a significant role in the preparation and analysis of consolidated financial Forecasts, Budgets and Strategic/Operating plans. The FP&A Analyst will contribute to the overall assessment of ITT performance (both Operational and Corporate) to be presented through regular financial status communications to the Leadership Team and Board of Directors. In addition, the s/he will directly contribute to quarterly earnings analytics and will support strategic planning, scenario analysis, benchmarking and special projects while interfacing with other ITT HQ departments (including Investor Relations, Strategy, Treasury, Accounting and Tax) and directly with the Value Centers.



Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the implementation of the 5 pillars of the FP&A vision: track and drive performance; contribute to efficient resource allocation; support efficient decision-making and champion a high-performance culture
  • Review VC & HQ financial forecasts to help identify opportunities and risks and prepare ITT’s consolidated Outlooks.
  • Assist with the coordination and establishment of the financial targets and data requirements for the Strategic, Operating and Budget Plans.
  • Assist with the financial data requirements, reporting and analysis for internal reporting to the Leadership Team, Board of Directors as well as external reporting to the analyst community.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to support other HQ Functions and Value Centers.
  • Monthly Americas financial reporting to support GM
  • Work with sites to review/reconcile OneStream financial submissions compared to Orders/Sales system by product line to ensure reliable monthly and quarterly reporting to corporate.
  • Contribute to quarterly earnings analytics to help prepare CEO and CFO for earnings calls and help complete the earnings process.
  • Help develop monthly and quarterly business review requirements, consolidating outlooks and preparing financial analysis.
  • Perform competitive and other benchmarking analysis.
  • Conduct special analysis and other tasks as required by management.


Qualifications

Qualifications/Attributes:

  • BS/BA in Accounting, Finance or Economics
  • 6-10 years of Finance and Accounting experience; Manufacturing experience is a plus
  • Excellent skills in financial analysis, financial modeling, planning and problem solving
  • Continuous improvement minded, motivated and dedicated team player
  • Excel and PowerPoint presentations skills required to model and communicate financial analysis to Senior Management
  • Prior experience with Hyperion/HFM or Onestream is helpful
  • Effective listening and communications skills
