Location: Manassas, VA, United States Req ID: req1501 SEACORP is seeking a well-qualified Intergration Engineer - Submarine Combat Systems. Primary Duties and Responsibilities: Job Summary: SEACORP is seeking an Integration Engineer to support theCommon Infrastructure Services (CIS) of the Submarine Warfare FederatedTactical Systems (SWFTS) in Manassas, VA. The SWFTS CIS is a subsystemwithin the AN/BYG-1 Submarine Combat and Weapons Control System which undergoesannual update cycles, alternating between software updates and hardwarerefreshes. The Integration Engineer -Submarine Combat Systems, will be responsible for integration of softwarecomponents into the CIS Linux-based system environment, managing the softwarebuild process, and setup & management of the hardware and software test bayenvironments utilized for integration and test. Essential Capabilities:
Candidate should have experience on a Linux based highavailability system, hands on ability to set-up, maintain and troubleshoot hardware/softwaretest environments, experience managing software builds and integration ofsoftware components. Configuration andcyber hardening of Linux based Operating Systems is a plus. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's degree in an Engineering discipline. Advanced military technical training (e.g.Navy "C" School) and 7 years’ experience in military systems (e.g.,service abroad a naval ship) can be substituted for a bachelor’sdegree. Experience: Theideal candidate would have 3-5 year's integration and build experience on Linux-basedsystems. Clearance: Secret clearance. Existing clearance desired, ability to obtaina clearance is a requirement. As a requirement of employment, all SEACORP employees must hold U.S. Citizenship Location: Manassas, VA Travel: 5% Clearance: Secret Work Environment & Physical Demands: ffice & Computer Laboratories - This positions requires the following physical activities: Sitting, standing, extended periods of time using a mouse and keyboard and looking at computer screens. Infrequent lifting of <40lbs. Movement between points within the same office or between buildings. Work is performed in generally consistent environmental conditions with some seasonality for temperature differences and lighting.
