We are seeking a hands-on Expert Cloud Network Engineer who is capable of maintaining and growing our network infrastructure, troubleshooting and building AWS and Azure networks that integrate with our transit network, and building and maintaining various forms of VPNs. We are a DevOps-driven network team, and utilize CICD pipelines, DevOps methodology, and DevOps tooling to build and maintain modern public cloud networks. In this role, you will have the freedom and flexibility to build new things, POC freely in a dedicated sandbox, and solve problems that push the boundaries of current technology! *This role can be 100% remote* Desired Skillsets: Cloud Networking Experience: VPC or VNET peering, SG, NACL, route-table updates Site to site VPN builds with native AWS or Azure services Infrastructure as Code tooling to manage environments like Terraform or CloudFormation AWS and Azure experience desired, but either experience valuable Maintaining routing, security, load balancing, front door, and other standing cloud-based network services Cloud Architecture DevOps Experience: Terraform, Powershell, JSON, and other languages Git process knowledge CICD pipeline tools such as GitHub Experience implementing architectural standards into pipelines Firewall Experience: Palo Alto Firewall build experience Palo cloud implementation, including HA and design Knowledge of VPN tunnel phases Experience building S2S VPNs between Azure/AWS VPN Gateways and NVA or physical firewall implementations Cisco Route/Switch Experience: Troubleshooting BGP and routing BGP metric and routing manipulation Troubleshooting ACLs and layered filtering access operations and whitelisting Preference given to Cisco route/switch or Cisco security certifications CCIE or required experience Cisco route/switch experience Cisco ASA experience including DAP posturing and AnyConnect management Strong network foundational knowledge Other Skillsets: Cisco ASA experience: Strong AnyConnect management and troubleshooting experience VPN troubleshooting experience Packet monitoring and multi-layer filtering experience Designing secure networks and troubleshooting access Troubleshooting and Advising: Understanding of the troubleshooting process from end to end Troubleshooting in cloud networks Experience and understanding of Windows and Linux systems Consulting internal or external teams on cloud architecture best practices Other Networking technologies: Sonicwall firewalls Express route implementation Cisco Firepower Certificate use cases and understanding of cryptography #LI-CT1 #LI-Remote Enhancing Lives and Building Careers Veradigm believes in empowering our associates with the tools and flexibility to bring the best version of themselves to work and to further their professional development.
