Job Summary
Skilled professional needed to join the UK Targeted Assessment Program Opioid Use Disorder Project (
TAP
OUD). We are looking for a team member with strong clinical and case management skills. The candidate must be passionate about helping and advocating for others.
Skills / Knowledge / Abilities
The TAP OUD Specialist will be a UK employee and co-housed at the Department for Community Based Services office in Nicholasville, KY, and will conduct assessment interviews in the areas of substance use, mental health, intimate partner violence victimization, and learning problems; facilitate referrals; and increase access to medications assisted treatment and other community treatment services. Master’s degree plus 3 years of related experience in social work, counseling/treatment, case management, psychoeducation, harm reduction, peer support, adult education, rehabilitation, and other supportive services, or bachelor’s degree plus equivalent.
