We are currently seeking a summer Intern to assist our Legal team at Wagman, Inc. This position is ideal for a paralegal studies or pre-law student seeking the opportunity to learn about construction risk management while completing various projects and assignments for our Legal team.

This position is subject to drug testing and compliance policies.

Wagman is a multi-faceted construction firm with operations in heavy civil, general construction and geotechnical construction services. Founded in 1902, Wagman is a fourth-generation family-owned company with offices in Pennsylvania and Virginia.

Qualifications:

  • Basic understanding of legal principles
  • Basic knowledge of corporate law a plus
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environment

Essential Functions:

  • Support tracking of leases
  • Input and maintain legal databases and spreadsheets
  • Assist in special projects and assignments as directed by the legal department
  • Maintain confidentiality at all times

Physical Requirements of the Essential Functions:

  • Clear and comprehensible speech
  • Depress computer keyboard keys
  • Sitting required throughout a scheduled work shift.
  • Must be able to perform simple grasping and fine manipulation tasks with both hands. Must be able to reach and lift.
  • Required to have acceptable corrected vision (in both eyes) and acceptable corrected hearing
  • Ability to work full-time in the office
