Diploma or GED; Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering preferred; Construction Management de Experience Requirement: experience in heavy highway and bridge work required for Project Engineers; 0-5 years experience for Construction Engineers; completion of Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering and/or Construction Management Special Skills: Blueprint/plan reading; experience in heavy civil construction, knowledge of heavy highway work Travel Requirement: open to travel Description Position : Project Engineer and Construction Engineer We are currently seeking a Project Engineer to join our Wagman Heavy Civil, Inc. team. Reporting to the Project Manager, the Project Engineer is responsible for all routine on-site project administration, scheduling, and engineering. This position works along with the entire Project Team to plan and support the completion of assigned construction engineering projects and ensures all plans move forward to meet projected deadlines. This is a safety sensitive position requiring work on construction sites with various safety hazards inherent in heavy construction. This position is subject to drug testing and compliance policies associated with our status as a Federal Contractor. Wagman is a multi-faceted construction firm with operations in heavy civil, general construction and geotechnical construction services. Founded in 1902, Wagman is a fourth-generation family-owned company with offices in Pennsylvania and Virginia.
