Summary:

The Onsite Support Representative works in coordination with their manager, and customer site supervisors to sell television services to and collect service fees from hospital patients. They also provide customer support to patients who are renting television services and escalate system issue to the service team. The Onsite Support Representative is organized, personable, responsible, able to multitask, detail oriented, a clear communicator, and focuses on providing excellent customer support.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 1+ year previous experience in retail sales, cash attendant, or other position where money is counted and exchanged preferred.
  • Must have good customer service skills.
  • Must be able to effectively handle stressful situations in a calm and professional manner.
  • Work hours will vary according to individual customer site schedules. Some work may require weekend commitments.
  • Position requires ability to move freely through hospital 100% of the time. Mobility must include walking, sitting, standing, and occasionally lifting, kneeling, and crouching for periods of time. Must be able to see, hear and have good eye/hand/foot coordination.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities: (Duties and responsibility for this position may vary from branch to branch. Manager may add or remove bullets as needed to align with business need and process.)

  • Visit new patients within hospital, explain service, coordinate service start-up, and collect fees for services ordered by patient; Assist patients with home billing, or give instructions on how to charge services to credit cards.
  • Notify Service Department of any equipment issues or problems; provide basic troubleshooting; and reboot systems upon request. May move some equipment from time to time.
  • Complete deposit records and sales documentation according to Company process and standards.
  • Follow up with patients when service expires for renewals; train hospital patients on how to use the system.
  • Respond to customer questions and inquiries and resolve complaints.
  • Attend training classes as required by management.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as required.
