Title: Graduate Assistant, Brotherhood Scholars Employee Classification: GS - Graduate Student - Stipend Pay Grade: GS 00 Division: Chief Diversity Officer Department: Office of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Campus Location: Main Campus General Summary The Brotherhood (Helping Others Obtain Degrees) Scholars Program is a first-year student experience designed to increase retention and graduation rates for students who identify as Men at Eastern Michigan University. Through collaborative university partnerships, the Brotherhood Scholars Program guides students in their transition to college by providing a residential community, designated courses, dialogues, membership, and workshops. Dedicated staff leads and facilitates programming centered around three key developmental areas: academic, human, and socio-cultural. Brotherhood Scholar students are connected to staff, faculty, alumni, and community members to provide a network of support along their collegiate journey. Principal Duties and Responsibilities
