Qualifications Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Economics, or Statistics. Minimum two years working experience in utility generation planning, financial forecasting, rates, production cost modeling, budgeting, planning and forecasting, data mining or equivalent experience. Working experience with databases, database access, data interpretation, strategy development, process improvement and data presentation.
SKILLS: Excellent analytical and problem solving skills, such as the ability to handle, interpret and translate studies of numbers and data. Proficiency with personal computers including Microsoft Windows, Excel, and Access and other data analysis tools/software Ability to interpret data and relate it to the company or process goals. Distinctive people skills, strong team-orientation, and a professional attitude Ability to work with minimal supervision. Ability to appropriately handle confidential information. Strong knowledge of data analysis and modeling tools (Excel, SAS, etc.) to ensure model integrity, build modifications and apply the models to business decisions.
PREFERRED: Experience in the energy industry Experience with electric rate design and strategy Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Analytics, Statistics or related field Possesses a working knowledge of statistics, programming and predictive modeling.
