Princeton University Athletics is seeking a qualified candidate for the Assistant Director of Athletics Creative Content who will work as part of the Princeton Athletics External Relations unit to lead, develop and create video content promoting Princeton’s 38 teams across multiple platforms. The assistant director will report to the Assistant Director of Athletics, Multimedia and Broadcasting. Responsibilities • In partnership with the Senior Associate AD, External Relations and the Assistant AD, Multimedia and Broadcasting, the assistant director will lead efforts to develop and create content to execute strategic plans designed to positively influence and generate increased engagement for and with Princeton Athletics. • Manage production projects from conception through completion. • Drive storytelling and brand awareness efforts through social media content, intro/hype videos, fan engagement, highlights, and interviews; including shooting and editing content for long form, short form, promotional spots and documentaries. • Recruit, train, and supervise casual hourly staff and student employees in the execution of creative video functions. Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. • Demonstrated storytelling ability across a variety of platforms, preferably in athletics.
Preferred Qualifications: • Degree in Sports Management or related field
