Job Summary
The Markey Cancer Center’s Biospecimen & Translational Pathology Shared Resource Facility ( BPTP- SRF) is currently seeking to fill a Research Analyst position. This position will work as part of our biospecimen laboratory team to support clinical research at the Markey Cancer Center. The BPTP- SRF collects, processes, stores and dispenses biological samples from patients at Markey Cancer Center and throughout UK Healthcare. This position interacts with providers and staff across UK Healthcare to ensure timely, high quality services according to established SOPs and CAP biobank guidelines. This position will routinely utilize clinical and research software platforms to perform job duties, including data entry, and will be responsible for maintaining documentation of specimen collections according to best clinical practices. Will assist in specimen QC, lab and equipment maintenance and documentation. Other duties, as assigned, to ensure full support of BPTP services and supported projects.

This position will have a fully on-site work arrangement.
