What You Will Do:

• You will support our planning and economic development team with general planning services to our municipal clients.
• Specific work tasks include:
  • data analysis and collection
  • the review of land use applications
  • preparation of staff reports
  • plan and ordinance writing
  • code/zoning enforcement
  • community engagement
  • other duties related to planning and economic development

What You Will Bring:

• The successful candidate must have a four-year degree in urban planning or a related field.
• A desire to work to grow the Community Planning business.
• Strong presentation and writing skills.
• A valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Proven abilities in leadership, facilitating commission/council meetings, relationship-building, a positive attitude, and a passion for your work are also required.
• A Masters Degree in Urban and Regional Planning or a similar field desired.
• 2-4 years experience desired but not required.
