Legacy Meridian Park Medical Center is the South metro area’s full-service medical center, with the friendly feel of a community hospital and the skill and services of a much larger medical center. Among our specialties: stroke, chest pain, minimally invasive and robotic surgery, cancer care, orthopedic and total joint surgery and a birth center and breast health center.
Nurses in collaboration with Angiography, Cardiovascular and Electrophysiology Technologists provide the highest quality care using the most advanced technologies for diagnosis and treatment in our Cardiovascular and Hybrid labs located at each Legacy site. Responsibilities Catheterization Laboratory service lines are comprehensive and include interventional cardiology, vascular, adult, and pediatric interventional radiology, adult and pediatric interventional neuroradiology, adult and pediatric electrophysiology, structural heart, and pediatric and congenital interventional cardiology.
The RN Staff Nurse, Cath Lab provides care to all service lines and patient populations outside of Emanuel and Randall Children’s Hospitals.
This position is responsible for patient care within assigned Hospital Cath Lab and participates as a member of the health care team in cooperation with and under the direction of the clinical manager or designee as defined by the relevant Standards and Scope of Practice for the Registered Nurse.
This role assesses, analyzes, plans, implements, and evaluates patient care following established patient care standards for Legacy Health System including those for patient assessment and transfer. Qualifications Education: As required by licensure:
