The Mario J. Gabelli School of Business at Roger Williams University, Bristol RI, invites applications for a lecturer position in Finance beginning Fall 2024. Responsibilities include teaching financial management as well as related courses, including personal financial planning, bank management and an introductory course in principles of finance. Interest in other areas of finance is also welcome. The individual hired will be expected to provide excellence in teaching, be enthusiastic about advising students, student clubs and support the school and University through service assignments. Typical teaching load of this position would be 4-4 that can include a mix of graduate and undergraduate teaching.



Job Requirements:

Candidates should have an established record or demonstrated strong potential for high quality, innovative teaching. Minimum requirements include an MBA from an AACSB accredited institution. MBA would not be a necessity if the person holds a Ph.D. in a related discipline from an AACSB accredited institution. Preference would be given to individuals who have business experience in a related field as well.

At the University's discretion, the education and experience prerequisites may be excepted where the candidate can demonstrate, to the satisfaction of the University, an equivalent combination of education and experience specifically preparing the candidate for success in the position.
