Description:

Within our state-of-the art 500+ person Greeley, CO manufacturing facility, we are seeking a Human Resources Generalist to help grow, mentor, and support the almost 500 employees that call this facility home. Will you turn your passion for people into impact by directly contributing to fostering a healthy environment for the next generation of Leprino’s leaders to flourish? The Greeley plant is Leprino’s newest US facility. Built on the site of an abandoned sugar processing factory, the facility is one of the most technological advanced cheese and whey plants in the world. The 1.25 million square foot plant takes in roughly 800,000 gallons of milk a day to produce a daily 700,000 pounds of cheese, whey protein, and other dairy ingredients. Joining our team will expose you to state-of-the-art technology and an incredibly fast-paced 24/7 production operation.

At Leprino Foods, starting compensation for this role typically ranges between $70,000 and $82,000. This position has an annual target bonus of 5%.

• Play a vital part in HR operations at our 480-person Greeley cheese, whey, and next-gen ingredient manufacturing plant. Including the leadership, mentorship, and career development for all HR team members.

• Play a key role in driving the company's strong culture, succession management, organizational design, leadership development and assessment, and recruitment.

• Recommend and implement practices necessary to establish positive relationships and promote a higher level of morale.

• Improve on existing practices and procedures in order to continue hiring a remarkable workforce for both exempt and non-exempt level positions.

• Support the day-to-day operations of the HR Department and provide advice, assistance, counseling, and follow-up on Company policies and procedures.

• Lead employee engagement teams and activities.

• Support employee relations practices necessary to establish a positive employer-employee relationship and promote a high level of employee morale and motivation.

• Assist with coordinating compliance and regulatory training for all employees.

• Coordinate and conduct benefit orientation and other benefits training, including the annual benefits open enrollment process for non-bargaining unit employees.

• Coordinate recruiting efforts with business partners to ensure proper staffing levels are maintained within the plant, including development of employment advertisements and/or working with third-party staffing agencies as needed.

• Coordinate and facilitate the orientation and on-boarding process for new employees.

• Be humble, inquisitive, patient, collaborative, tenacious, and resilient - the DNA of a Leprino employee.

You Have At Least (Required Qualifications):

• A Bachelor's in Human Resources or Organizational Development including two (2) years of experience as an HR Generalist or HR Associate.

We Hope You Also Have (Preferred Qualifications):

• Extensive experience in employment law, OD and planning, labor relations, safety, and training.

• A Master’s in Labor Relations, HR Management, or OD including a PHR, SPHR, or SHRM-CP (and SCP) certification.

• Experience in a 24/7 dairy manufacturing environment with leadership over HR Supervisors or HR Generalists.
