Santa Fe, NM Full time Posted 30+ Days Ago JR15 Position Summary Founded in 1983, the Randall Davey Audubon Center & Sanctuary (RDAC) is a non-profit education center and wildlife sanctuary and the New Mexico State Office of the National Audubon Society. Located in Santa Fe, New Mexico, RDAC encompasses 135 acres of striking landscapes and wildlife. Bounded by thousands of acres of National Forest and Santa Fe River Watershed land, the Center & Sanctuary provides a peaceful sanctuary for plants, animals, and our visitors. Ranging from common to rare, approximately 130 species of birds can be found in or over the various ecosystems of this sanctuary. The Senior Facilities Assistant is responsible for the maintenance of the buildings, grounds, equipment, and vehicles at the RDAC. This position will collaborate with staff on facilities use and planning, manage and improve the site for wildlife with the Center Director and volunteers, and organize and oversee all work projects in an efficient, safe, and productive manner that may involve RDAC volunteers with specific tasks as it relates to the operations of the Center specifically gardening, building and grounds upkeep, trails maintenance, and other tasks. The Senior Facilities Assistant will regularly interact with diverse populations of visitors from around the world. This is an on-site position based in Audubon Southwest—State Office Randall Davey Center & Sanctuary. The regular weekly schedule is Tuesday through Saturday from 8 am to 4 pm, 40 hours.
