WHAT YOU’LL DO:

This temporary associate designer will be designing for our Honolua women’s product. It is a designer’s responsibility to bring volume driving product to fruition each season. A designer is responsible for design and development approval of the product contained in the categories assigned.

• Responsible for analyzing trends being innovative as well as relevant and volume driving product for the Honolua brand
• Responsible for all design details including silhouettes, branding and all styling details for assigned categories
• Responsible for producing graphic art for printables program
• Delivery fit direction
• Approve of all design details during development process including fabrics, trims and label placements
• Maintain all product technical details in company’s centric system, including tech packs and BOMS
• Stay in tune with the needs of the Honolua market and customer base
• Understand & assist in the merchandising of each category and brand
• Being a team player when deadlines arise
• Creating/maintaining our VLP

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in apparel and graphic design
• Detailed knowledge of garment construction and textiles
• Creative, extremely detail oriented, and highly motivated team player
• Advanced to expert in Illustrator
• Intermediate to advanced Photoshop
• Design degree or Bachelor’s degree is preferable and appreciated
• This position requires some hours at our HQ in Costa Mesa, CA; however, some duties can be performed remotely

Liberated Brands is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The hourly range for this role in Costa Mesa, CA is $21.64/hr - $28.85/hr. This position is Hybrid and, as such, compensation will ultimately be in line with the location in which the position is filled. Final compensation for this role will be determined by several factors such as a candidate’s relevant work experience, skill set, certifications, and specific work location.
