About the Role:

We are looking to hire Sr. Manager of Sales Engineering who will lead and oversee a team of Regional Sales Engineers in the Western region of the United States. This team sells into our Enterprise accounts and are technical SME's of CrowdStrike's products. We are looking for talent with a strong understanding of the security marketplace with history of leading a team

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead a team of the industry’s top Regional Sales Engineers for the Enterprise space

  • Coach, Hire, Mentor and lead the team to meeting and/or overachieving on their metrics

  • Ensure POCs and customer engagements meet the company’s standards

  • Easily articulate complex security problems to a diverse set of audiences

  • Work closely with cross functional departments such as Sales, Marketing, Support, and Engineering

  • Be the technical bridge for CrowdStrike prospects/customers

What You’ll Need:

  • 3+ years of front line management experience with 5+ years of sales engineering or technical consulting experience in the security space

  • A Bachelors Degree relative to the industry; preferraby in Cybersecurity or Information Systems

  • Understanding SOC workflows, technology and challenges is key, alongside cloud computing, security, and technical architectures.

  • Tactical and strategic planner

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to present to a variety of external audiences, including C-level executives

  • Extensive contacts and pre-existing relationships in the information security field and strong references

  • Strong analytical and mathematical skills to model opportunities, build coverage models, work out territories and calculate commission plans.

  • Ability to travel as required

  • Bonus: Experience with malware, threat intelligence, and/or sandbox analysis

  • Bonus: Experience with programming or scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, and Bash

  • Bonus: Experience with virtualization/VDI technologies

  • Bonus: Experience with large scale cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.

  • Bonus: Understanding of the OSI model

  • Bonus: Certifications such as CEH, CISSP, OSCP, and SANS

The base salary range for this position in the U.S. is $140,000 - $240,000 per year + variable/incentive compensation + equity + benefits.
