Seeking a hard-working, conscientious, and motivated person for a part-time research assistant position (12-20 hrs/week) on a federally-funded U.S. Department of Education grant. Individuals must have an undergraduate degree in Psychology or a related research field, or must be an advanced Psychology undergraduate with excellent credentials. Successful applicants will have experience with psychological research, working with children, and coordinating adults. Candidates must be available at least four afternoons per week in June/July, and four afternoons per week during the Fall beginning in August; some afternoon/evening and weekend work will be required.
Responsibilities: Managing the day-to-day functioning of an intervention for 3rd and 4th grade students, including training and directing undergraduates, scheduling and reminding parents, participating in data collection at local elementary schools and on UK’s campus, and coding, entering, and analyzing data for this intervention.Skills / Knowledge / Abilities
