New Jersey Resources is seeking a ServiceNow Administrator Desktop Support to maintain updates and enhancements to the ServiceNow environment; serve as backup role of providing end-user desktop support. Point of contact for technical support and troubleshooting for ServiceNow system issues. Lead user acceptance testing on new enhancements. Conduct training for new and existing users and for implemented system changes.
Major Responsibilities:
- Maintains, updates, and enhances ITSM environment including Incident, Request, Problem, Change and Knowledge Management, Service Catalog, Service Portals, SLAs, Discovery and Integrations
- Perform daily administration, issue resolution, and troubleshooting of the ServiceNow platform
- Monitors health, usage and overall compliance of ServiceNow and its applications
- Understands IT and business requirements with ability to develop, test, deploy improvements and update workflows based on requirements
- Manages and administers lists, filters, forms, platform interfaces (to other data sources) and the data within tables, import sets and the CMDB
- Creates and configures Business Rules, UI Policies, UI Actions, Client Scripts and ACLs including advanced scripting when necessary
- Creates and configures Notifications, UI pages, UI Macros, Script Includes, Formatters, etc. in ServiceNow
- Produces reports and dashboards based on defined measures, metrics and key performance indicators
Position Specifications:
- At least two years of experience in administration and configuration of ServiceNow Platform and applications
- Experience with ITSM and at least one other area: ITOM, ITBM, ITAM, Security Operations, GRC
- Experience performing upgrades and system clones
- At Least 2 -3 years of experience with O365 Suite including core office products: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneDrive, OneNote, Skype for Business, and their associated mobile applications for associate use.
- 1-2 years' experience in Help Desk or support function
- Strong communication, interpersonal and customer service skills; ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Endpoint Support to resolve level 1 and 2 Office 365 issues
- Excellent problem solving and decision-making skills
- Experience with iPhones/iOS and Android
- Microsoft desktop certification or Office 365 is a plus (MCSE)
- Prior experience with desk top software and hardware upgrades and migrations
- Ability to effectively articulate issues
- Familiar with configuring and troubleshooting PC hardware components
- Technical skills with Microsoft Windows 10 and Microsoft Office applications, including experience with Microsoft Office 365
- Valid driver license as may need to travel up to 10 - 20% of time to outlying locations in NJ
