DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Solicits new and existing customers for automation machines products.
  • Continue 90% client retention.
  • Partnership over seeing delivery, forecasting and market analysis for prospective customers.
  • Prepares quotes and project PowerPoint material.
  • Supports the activities of sales representatives and/or distributors (may include goal setting, travel support).
  • Schedule sales calls as required may involve significant overnight travel (25 %).
  • Prepare, attend and staff trade shows as required (two or three annually).
  • Supports standard or custom product line sales with packaging experience desired.
  • Assists in the development and implementation of marketing strategies as needed.
  • Works with purchasing, assembly and engineering to maintain schedule, cost, and cost reduction objectives.
  • Communications with internal engineering staff, suppliers and customers.
  • Performs service or support of machinery at customer locations [may require travel out of state or country]
  • Supports customer relations and customer satisfaction for area of responsibility.
  • Prepares technical machinery information and manuals.
  • Supports mechanical, electrical assembly during machine building process of debug.

  • SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: None.

    EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's Degree [B.S. or B.A.] or equivalent from a four - year college plus three to five years related sales experience with a mechanical or electrical engineering focus and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

    LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to reason, analyzes, and interprets general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

    MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations as well as determination of test reliability and validity, analysis of variance, and correlation techniques.

    REASONING ABILITY: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form. Ability to apply principles of logical or scientific thinking to a wide range of intellectual and practical problems. Ability to deal with nonverbal symbolism [formulas, scientific equations, graphs, etc.,] in difficult phases. Ability to deal with a variety of abstract and concrete variables.

    CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: Valid Driver's License and ability for international travel.
