Denver Parks and Recreation is seeking an Arborist Technician I to perform general forestry work to support Denver's urban forest. This includes tree climbing, pruning, planting, transplanting, watering, fertilizing, tree removal, insect/disease identification, pesticide application, and inventory.
This is a great opportunity for an Arborist who is looking for job stability and wants to work on a team that values professional growth and employee well-being. Denver's Urban Forestry Operations team works hard, and their high energy is driven by a passion for serving the citizens of Denver and enhancing Denver's urban tree canopy.
The typical work schedule will be Monday - Friday, 6:30 a.m.-3:00 p.m. with occasional weekend hours as needed.
