What you’ll do…

The schedule for this role is Sunday 9am-5pm and Monday – Thursday 7:30am – 4pm.

  • Provide administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the HR department and visitor reception area.
  • Answer phone calls, schedule meetings and support the Human Resources team, internal employees and visitors by performing tasks related to organization and effective communication.
  • Process incoming mail and mail correspondence as needed.
  • Scan and upload documents to the HRIS, file documents, and participate in the document retention audit process.
  • Assist with HRIS data entry and change request processing.
  • Complete administrative tasks related to payroll processing, time and attendance, benefits administration, leaves of absence and related claims for federal, state and voluntary benefits.
  • Provide administrative support for training and other compliance reporting; create, review and send reports according to reporting and distribution requirements.
  • Assist with administrative support for recruitment efforts and new hire onboarding as needed.
  • Maintain supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level, anticipating needed supplies, placing and expediting orders for supplies.
  • Compile and submit department expense reports for review.
  • Perform additional job duties as required.

What you bring with you…

You will need to bring your initiative, organizational skills, and desire to help people. The Administrative Assistant – Human Resources must have basic computation ability and a working understanding of Excel that includes formatting, formulas, and basic pivot tables and charts. The position requires flexibility and the ability to adapt to competing priorities while staying organized and on task. When it comes to payroll, benefits and compliance, details are important; the right candidate for this position has an excellent attention to detail and personal leadership courage to discuss opportunities and work with various the Human Resources team members to ensure that work completed meets a high standard. This opportunity requires at least 2 years of experience in a Human Resources, Administrative or related role. An educational background in business or human resources is preferred but not required. The next step in the career path for this position is HR Coordinator. The successful candidate for this role has a passion for Human Resources, exceptional customer service skills, enjoys having fun and working with others, and is a proactive problem solver focused on positive outcomes for those we serve.
