Senior Scientist -Discovery Attribute Sciences
What you will do
Let's do this. Let's change the world. In this vital role you will a part of the Discovery Attribute Sciences within Amgen Research providing scientific and technical expertise to support early discovery research through to later stage molecule optimization and late-stage selection of Amgen's pipeline of drug candidates. This position is an exciting opportunity to unlock the potential of biology for patients suffering from serious illnesses by discovering, developing, manufacturing and delivering innovative human therapeutics.
What we expect of you
We are all different, yet we all use our unique contributions to serve patients. The Scientific professional we seek is a proven leader with these qualifications.
A Doctorate degree with 5+ years in Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry or equivalent with emphasis in mass spectrometry and other analytical characterization techniques, such as reversed-phase, size exclusion chromatography, capillary electrophoresis, rheology and calorimetry.
Relevant experience working as part of a multidisciplinary team in a biopharmaceutical setting would also be an advantage.
