This is a multi-level posting for candidates with experience ranging from mechanical assembly to experience with electrical or mechanical maintenance and diagnostics. For the higher level positions, prior semiconductor experience is a plus.

Job Description:

The Abatement Technician will be responsible for preventive and corrective maintenance on semiconductor tools in a cleanroom environment. The range of duties depends on experience and skill level and may include:

  • PM set ups, completion, leak check and quality check
  • Parts receiving, staging and inspection
  • Corrective maintenance
  • Peripheral equipment maintenance
  • Maintain required maintenance logs

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma
    • Ability to pass required drug screening and background check
    • Eligible for badging at the customer site
    • This is a safety sensitive position; ability to maintain the appropriate standards is required
    • Basic computing skills
    • Excellent teamwork and communication skills
    • High degree of good judgement, work ethic, and initiative
    • Ability and willingness to extensively use a respirator during the course of work

    • Working in a cleanroom is a much safer working environment than most, as COVID-19 protocols are common everyday practice in the industry

    • Compressed work week scheduling can be helpful if you have personal obligations at home like a spouse working from home or home schooling. The shifts are 12 hours daily, with a 3-day/4-day alternating work week. Nights and day shifts available.
