SEACORP is seeking a well-qualified Environmental Compliance Analyst.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

Job Summary: SEACORP is looking for an experienced Enviornmental Compliance Analyst who will work with multiple Navy Laboratories/Commands (NSWC, PMRF, SUBPAC) to leverage existing environmental permissions that are relevant to both the Virginia Class and Columbia class submarines for incorporation into Virginia/Columbia permission documents.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Review prepared “negative decision” environmental reports to obtain understanding of requirements that will be imposed on Navy T&E programs and develop compliance action steps.
  • Work with NUWCDIVNPT Code 70 Environmental Personal to provide input to the Virginia and Columbia AUTEC permissions packages for both DT and OT testing.
  • Support environmental monitoring assignments as required to support implementation of approved environmental decision packages.
  • Provide general support to PMS 450W for construction of environmental task descriptions for all NUWCDIVNPT TPSs.
  • Support SANs Beacon installations and serve as the Programs Environmental Compliance POC to support installation operations.
  • Support both the Virginia and Columbia Risk processes and ensure that environmental challenges/issues are properly inputted/tracked/prioritized.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor of Science

Experience: 15+ Years with Environmental Compliance/Government Regulatory Compliance

As a requirement of employment, all SEACORP employees must hold U.S. Citizenship

Work Environment & Physical Demands: Office & Computer Laboratories - Sitting, standing, extended periods of time using a mouse and keyboard and viewing computer screens. Infrequent lifting of <40lbs. Movement between points within the same office or between buildings. Work is performed in generally consistent environmental conditions with some seasonality for temperature differences and lighting.Aboard Vessel - Standing and walking for extended periods of time. High probability of working in confined spaces where movement is restricted; movement through narrow passageways and hatches. Significant use of hands to operate equipment and tools. Occasional lifting <40 lbs. Daily use of computers, including use of a mouse and keyboard as well as the viewing of computer screens. Sitting, stooping, bending, twisting, reaching, lying prone, and squatting on a daily basis. Work is performed in very consistent environmental conditions for temperature and lighting, HVAC Personal Protective Equipment: safety shoes, safety glasses and flashlight required; hearing protection and hard hat recommended.
