As a Pharmacy Call Center Agent, your tasks will include:

  • Managing phone inquiries, updating patient records, and providing information on services and medication status
  • Enrolling mail-order patients, educating them on pharmacy services, and processing/forwarding patient refill requests
  • May lead staff by overseeing schedules, training, and audits, along with other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED)
  • Pharmacy Assistant state registration within 60 days of employment
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) required (level 9 for bilingual differential pay)
  • Knowledge of medical billing and terminology preferred
  • Effective communication and customer relations skills, conflict resolution abilities, and teamwork proficiency
  • Adaptability in a fast-paced environment, multitasking capabilities, attention to detail, and basic 10-key proficiency
  • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
