Job Description
Lynker is expecting the need for an Instructional Designer and eLearning Developer for a long-term contract that supports NOAA, which is expected to be awarded later this year. This position is contingent on contract award, and is anticipated to be one year long in duration, with possible extensions. As an Instructional Designer and eLearning Developer, you will play a pivotal role in creating high-quality eLearning modules by modernizing and enhancing 40 hours of existing eLearning modules. These modules will be posted on a federal LMS (Cornerstone platform). You will collaborate closely with subject matter experts (SMEs), project managers, and Lynker's training lead to modernize the design of these modules with interactive and engaging learning experiences. Content, scenarios, visuals, and new examples will be provided by the client. The successful Instructional Designer and eLearning Developer must be adept at appropriately integrating and developing modernizing elements such as applying a fresh UI/UX; developing knowledge checks and pre and post-tests; making the modules searchable; designing and developing downloadable job aids; incorporating a variety of interactivity and integrating workplace scenarios to serve as examples and counter-examples; incorporating test scoring and downloadable score-based certificates; and, ensuring all learning products developed meet Section 508 Accessibility Level-A and Level-AA criteria. You will also be accomplished at conducting efficient virtual alpha and beta testing of modules with intended learners; working collaboratively with SMEs, and, communicating concisely, personably, and diplomatically with all stakeholders.
