Flex Travel Optician, Decatur, Georgia

We are seeking an experienced Optician who is willing to travel to fill in for others on vacations or leave. This role will involve occasional overnight stays and day-to-day travel across the United States. Travel expenses will be covered or reimbursed by the company.

This is a part-time position offering a highly flexible schedule, making it ideal for those looking to earn extra income. The selected candidate will have the opportunity to work in various VA locations.

Responsibilities:

• Travel to different locations as needed to provide optician services.
• Fill in for other opticians during vacations or leaves of absence.
• Assist customers with selecting and fitting eyewear.
• Take accurate measurements and ensure proper alignment of eyeglasses.
• Educate customers on lens options, coatings, and frame styles.
• Provide exceptional customer service and address any concerns or questions.

Requirements:

• Licensed or ABO Certified Optician.
• Experience working as an optician, preferably in a retail setting.
• Willingness to travel across the United States.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and adapt to different environments.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on providing high-quality service.

Salary and Benefits:

• Pay range: $22-$30 per hour.
